It was during the campaign for the restoration of photographic copies of the dome of Cahors, I discovered the Palais de Chaillot in its vast galleries under renovation.

The miraculous restoration sites were then truly impressive and exciting. All the trades such as restorations mobilized an exceptional know-how. The French architectural heritage was thus enhanced by artisans from around the world.
These photos have the ambition to honor human value, the technique of restorers make any sensible energy moments and the action will remain invisible to visitors.

I realized then the entire campaign photographic murals of the museum ( see below 1 ).

I presented until June 7, 2012 photographs "Now and Then" in MOHAI (Museum of History and Industry) at Seattle ( see below 2 ) and was in the exhibition ( see below 3 ) at the National Taïwan Museum, called "Heavenly Paris", during July and August 2012.

Heavenly Paris

NATIONAL TAÏWAN MUSEUM

Parisian domes under the eye of the photographer Bérangère LOMONT:
exhibition from July 3 to August 26, 2012

I am very pleased and honored that my photographs are exhibited in the sublime galleries of the National Museum of Taiwan. This is a dedication that I did not dare to hope when I undertook this project.

I want to thank Mrs Yin-Tai Lung (Culture Minister), Mr Kuo Wei Fang (President of the Sino-French Foundation for Education and Culture), Mr Chen Chi-Ming (Director of National Museum of Taïwan), Mr Olivier Richard (Director of the French Office), Mrs Kumi Osaki-Charau and Mr. Pierre-Charau Charau (Exhibition Commissioner), Mrs Pan Tai Fang (also Commissioner), Mr Hsiao (Director of Department of Cultural Ressources), the whole team of the Museum, and the laboratory Artpartment, through which this exhibition was made possible.

This event, superbly organized and set design which has magnified my work, is one of the most beautiful moment of my professional and personal life.

The warm welcome that I have received in Taïwan touched me deeply and stay so enjoyable for me was a real discovery.
